We’re excited to offer free e-cycle led rides in Luton & Dunstable through Cycling UK’s new free e-cycle scheme, Making cycling e-asier.
Whether you’re a keen cyclist, or you haven’t cycled in a while, our qualified cycling instructors will guide you through a two-hour session to give you the opportunity try e-cycling while taking in the local sights.
Our team will meet you in the parking lot located just outside of the staff area at Luton & Dunstable Hospital at 10am on your chosen date to set up a suitable e-cycle for you.
You’ll have the opportunity to pedal around the carpark to familiarise yourself with the e-cycle settings and feel comfortable riding before we set off.
The ride is suitable for all riding abilities, but you must be competent and happy to ride on the road.

Luton and Dunstable Hospital
In Luton and Dunstable we have a fleet of Tier Mobility e-bikes that are based at our hub at Luton and Dunstable Hospital. The Tier bikes are dockless e bikes that we have a fleet of for our Skills and Confidence sessions and loans for NHS staff as well as the general public. They have also been used for self-organised led rides by some of the hospital staff. The range of the bikes is about 40km.
